The Principia Museum, the protected ensemble of the building of the 13th Gemina Legion command from Apulum, is where the Roman Fort Apulum fragments were discovered in recent years. Visitors transpose for a few moments into the military life of the Roman soldier through a creative idea and digital technology.
The ancient characters are projected as moving images (video sequences) in the museum's window, unlike the static graphic elements - columns, walls of the castle - on the rest of the glass facade. The video sequences are projected from the inside to the outside, and the characters keep acceptable dimensions for the visitors. Sequences of pre-edited video content play on the screen when presence sensors detect the movement of potential visitors in front of the storefront.
The characters in the video sequences encourage passersby to visit the Principia Museum to learn more about the life and work of the soldiers and officials of the 13th Legion of Gemina and the officials of the Roman Empire of that era.
